Breast Reconstruction: To Do It or Not To Do it
The decision between undergoing breast reconstruction and going flat is a personal one. There is no wrong answer, but that doesn’t mean it’s an easy choice to make. In this talk, I share my personal story of walking through breast reconstruction. I also share input from a number of women I’ve interviewed; each of whom have their own perspective and story to tell.
Breast Reconstruction: This is Hard For Him Too
We women go through so much emotionally, physically and spiritually through the reconstruction process that it is easy to think only of ourselves. (Hey, we are the key player in this game). But the reality is that this process is very hard on the men who love us, and we face challenges navigating through this process together. This talk focuses on working together as a couple through the decisions and emotions that come with breast reconstruction.
