(The above photo is of some of the girls who received our dresses last year. Take a close look. Maybe you can find one that you made!)

Sewing For Haiti Day

I am planning a morning of sewing at my house on Saturday, March 31 from 9 -1. It doesn’t matter if you love to sew, wish you knew how to sew or are scared of sewing machines. All skill levels are welcome. We will be pinning patterns, cutting fabric, sewing some dresses and shorts, doing some ironing, drinking some coffee and eating some snacks. If you know in advance that you can make it, let me know. Otherwise, feel free to just show up. I’ve had some generous donations for fabric, so we will have lots of fun fabrics to turn into dresses and shorts.

I am the mother of three incredible sons: two of whom recently surpassed me in height, and one of whom I am going to pretend is still my baby. 1. Hmmm…. I failed sewing in Junior High. But, maybe I could pin, cut, iron? Count me in!
