Word of God Speak

Isaiah 55:11 – so is my word that goes out from my mouth; It will not return empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

I didn’t set out to read that specific verse, but when I opened my Bible to that page and found it underlined I read it. Then I read it again, and again and again. Then I left my dorm room and headed out to day three of Write-to-Publish classes.

It was on day 3 that I realized the reason I had come to the conference and the reason God wanted me to be at the conference were two different things. He used his Word, Suzie Eller (Proverbs 31 Ministries and Moms Together), and Jane Rubietta to tell me that.

I’m not gonna go into the details right now. Mostly because my brain is still fried from my four days in Chicagoland. But I have to say that God gave me a sense of purpose from a lunch table discussion with Suzie and then put an exclamation point at the end when Jane completed her class by saying,  “I’m going to end with this scripture – so is my word that goes out from my mouth; It will not return empty, but will accomplish what I desire and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.

  1. Why am I always so amazed when our Amazing God does such amazing things? It’s so cool to watch Him work in the lives of those who are willing to serve Him.

  2. Gives me chills. Can’t wait to hear more.

  3. Seriously! Can’t wait to hear more. I love it when it’s so incredibly obvious that God is speaking to you.
