…Mary Potter Kenyon. Carter drew her name from the jar, and I am pleased to send her a copy of Chicken Soup for the Soul: Devotional Stories for Women. She has been a blessing to me since I spent 12 hours in a car with her last June to and from a writer’s conference in Chicago. You can become fast-friends when you are in an enclosed space for such a long period of time. 🙂
She is a terrific writer whom God has taken through some deep valleys of grief. Her first book Coupon Crazy came out this summer. Her second book, Chemo-Therapist, will be available in Spring 2014.
